There was no sign of the Hooded Merganser this morning, maybe he continued north, but the male Red-breasted Merganser was back and busy fishing. Spotted a wood duck among the mallards and canada geese in the park across the street today. He was with two females, and it wasn’t clear, from across the pond, who was courting who. ,
