Checking back in on Lakeshore State Park…

As promised, I did ride the Oak Leaf Trail down to Lakeshore State Park this morning, and in short order, I found this handsome devil paddling slowly in the quiet water basin. It was already above freezing at sunrise this morning, and I expected the trails along the river in Estabrook Park to be very muddy again, so I opted to join the Milwaukee Birders as they visited Lakeshore State Park. Lots of ducks at Lakeshore State Park…

As advertised, I joined the Milwaukee Birders this morning at Lakeshore State Park, and we had nice, if chilly, weather for our outing.
